Gastronomy... a love affair between Food and Culture!π
I graduated in English and German, so I learned Grammar, Vocabulary, Linguistics, Phonetics, Literature, History,... but I had never been to these places I heard and read so much about... I didn't want to become a teacher without the experience of living in these countries and getting to know their 'real' habits, traditions and ways of living!
So, I managed... π
Before moving to England, I lived in Hamburg, Germany, for a year (through Erasmus). Not only was the climate quite different ⛄, but also the food and drinks!
It was my first time living abroad and therefore I had no idea that there could be so many different types of bread π , so varied sauces, loads of people eating pork sausages (π)in so many different ways!
The same thing happened when I went to England. There, I lived with an English family and worked for them as an aupair: I had to take care of the 3 children, clean the house, go shopping (food and drinks) in return for meals, a room, and a small payment. I loved this life experience π!!!
I remember the First Time I had a cup of tea! Actually, a mug of tea (the kids gave me this squirrel mugπ), a packet of crisps, a piece of toast with marmalade, or marmite! YUMMY !!!

Let's find out more about this delicious subject!
